Rangers assistant coach Ekenedilichukwu Eke has expressed satisfaction with his team’s performance after securing a 0-0 draw against Enyimba in a tightly contested oriental derby on Tuesday, December 3, at the Enyimba International Stadium in Aba.
Although Enyimba dominated possession throughout the match, Rangers defended resolutely, holding their ground against the People’s Elephant.
Eke described the result as a positive one for his side, especially given the tough conditions.
“I can say this is a fantastic result for us, coming all the way from Enugu to Aba to secure a point. It wasn’t an easy game at all,” he said after the match.
“From start to finish, it was intense and highly competitive. I give credit to both teams, but more to my players—they performed wonderfully well. It’s a good result for us.”
