Moses Bliss breaks silence on Ebuka Songs rift, sets record straight with heartfelt message

On Monday, April 28, gospel music star Moses Bliss publicly addressed the widespread rumors of a falling out with his former protégé, Ebuka Songs, putting an end to months of speculation that followed Ebuka’s departure from his record label.

During the inaugural live edition of the ‘WithChude’ podcast, Bliss called the viral reports of a feud between them completely false, emphasizing that the relationship remains rooted in mutual respect and spiritual growth.

“We’re humans, and you feel a certain way if people misconstrue your intentions. But I’m very concerned about impressing God. My intentions are very pure, and everything is born out of love,” Bliss said.

He also had warm words for Ebuka Songs, whom he described as a “great guy” with a bright future ahead.

“Ebuka is a great guy. I think the world has not seen the best of him yet. I feel like he still has greater years, and with good mentors, he’s going to do even greater things. He is definitely not where he used to be and not how he met us. He is doing good for the kingdom. And he is impacting a lot of lives. Seeing just that alone, my joy is full. I don’t care what anybody thinks, I’m rejoicing and rooting for him.”

Bliss’ comments come two months after Ebuka Songs publicly shared his reasons for leaving the label, a move that fueled online speculation of discord. Fans had been divided, with many expressing concern over what appeared to be a strained relationship between mentor and mentee.

Bliss’ response, however, underscores a commitment to unity and kingdom-minded service rather than public drama.
