Enzo Zidane retires from football at 29
Enzo Zidane, the eldest son of Zinedine Zidane, has announced his retirement from football at the age of 29, according to a report from the Spanish newspaper ‘As’ this Tuesday. The midfielder, who had a brief stint with Aves in 2019, wore the jersey of Fuenlabrada last season in the Primera División RFEF (which is equivalent to the third division), and has been without a club since then.
Despite expectations, Enzo never managed to reach the heights of his father’s illustrious career. A product of Real Madrid’s youth academy, he has now decided to step away from the pitch to focus on his three daughters and his business ventures.
Meanwhile, his younger brothers continue to forge their paths in football, all currently active in Spain. Luca represents Granada, Theo is playing for Córdoba, and Elyaz is with Betis.
