Emmanuel Petit ignores Palmer, picks Caicedo as Chelsea player he’d love at Arsenal
Former Arsenal star Emmanuel Petit has revealed which Chelsea player he would most like to see join Arsenal in a new interview. Ahead of Arsenal’s big London derby against Chelsea this Sunday, Petit snubbed young talent Cole Palmer and named Moises Caicedo as the Chelsea player he would choose to add to the Gunners’ squad.
Petit, who made his name at Arsenal before moving on to other clubs, was asked which Chelsea player would fit well into the current Arsenal team. Without hesitation, he said, “Moises Caicedo, definitely!” He also mentioned that he would consider Cole Palmer, but Caicedo was his first choice.
Caicedo, the Chelsea midfielder, has been impressive this season, while Palmer, who is also a key player for Chelsea, has been making waves as well.
Arsenal will be hoping to bounce back after their 1-0 defeat to Newcastle United in their last match, while Chelsea comes into the derby after a 1-1 draw with Manchester United.
With both teams looking to improve their form, Sunday’s game promises to be an exciting showdown in the Premier League.
