Drama as Dayo Amusa and Femi Adebayo’s wife clash online over Bobrisky’s award

Nollywood actress Dayo Amusa has found herself in a war of words with Aduke Omotayo, the wife of her colleague, Femi Adebayo, over controversial comments made about a movie premiere’s best-dressed award.

The spark that ignited this public feud was the outfit worn by controversial crossdresser, Bobrisky, to Eniola Ajao’s movie premiere.

Dayo Amusa took to her Instagram to express her dissatisfaction with the event’s organizers.

She criticized them for naming Bobrisky as the best-dressed female, arguing that they should have introduced a separate category to recognize crossdressers.

Aduke Omotayo, feeling the need to defend her husband, who presented the award to Bobrisky, responded sharply on her Instagram page.

She chastised netizens for attempting to undermine her husband’s reputation over the award decision.

Aduke questioned the logic behind blaming the presenter of an award rather than the event organizers or judges for their choices

She further criticized Femi Adebayo’s colleagues for publicly calling him out instead of reaching out to him privately.

She wrote;

“You all are quick to bring people down.”

“How does the person who presents an award be blamed for it? So if AMVCA gives an award to someone you believe is not deserving, you blame the presenter of the award and not the AMVCA or judges? Where are your brains? Well I don’t blame you all, I blame the so-called colleagues (enemies disguised as friends) who find it easier to publicly call you out at every opportunity rather than putting a call through to you.

“Femi is damn too hardworking and supportive! Madam, karma will visit you soon! Because you know Femi was only asked to present!

“Your call out was definitely intentional and hypocritical”.

In a subsequent comment, Dayo Amusa responded to Aduke’s remarks. The actress criticized her for engaging in banter rather than addressing the issue at hand.

She emphasized the importance of taking responsibility for actions and clarified that her comments were not rooted in hypocrisy or hidden agendas.

Dayo Amusa wrote;

“It’s cool to want to defend your own ALADUKE! I respect you for that but throwing Banta only shows how shallow-minded you are.

“He has to own up to it, take responsibility for his actions, and do the needful.

“No one is an enemy in disguise. Hypocrisy doesn’t exist here. I said all I said and I stand firmly on it.
Don’t push this too far”

Aduke Omotayo fired back at Dayo Amusa, questioning the extent of the damage she could possibly inflict and likening her to a butterfly thinking itself a bird.

“You said I shouldn’t push this too far? What damage are you possibly capable of doing after? A butterfly thinks itself a bird,” Aduke added.
