BREAKING: UK bans immigrant doctors, other health workers from bringing dependents

The United Kingdom has now ruled that immigrants who entered the country in the past year on Health and Care Worker visas can no longer bring dependents, according to the UK Home Office.

The UK announced the ban in a post on X today.

“This is part of our plan to deliver the biggest ever cut in migration,” the post also said.

This means that about 120,000 people who arrived in the country last year would no longer be eligible to bring dependents, according to the new rules.
