Pastor Jerry Eze emerges highest-earning YouTuber in Nigeria as he raked in N7bn
Pastor Jerry Eze, the founder of Streams of Joy International, has been recognized as the highest-earning YouTuber in Nigeria, according to Playboard, a global platform that ranks YouTube channels.
Eze, known for his widely followed online prayer platform, New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declarations (NSPPD), has achieved this top spot thanks to his substantial earnings from YouTube. His channel, which boasts over 2.12 million subscribers and receives more than one million views daily, generates daily earnings exceeding N7 million.
Previously a Communications Specialist with The World Bank, Pastor Eze has gained prominence not just for his content but also for his success with the YouTube feature, Super Chat. This feature allows viewers to pay to highlight their messages at the top of a live chat for a set period. Pastor Eze benefits significantly from this, as he receives 70% of the revenue from these paid messages.
According to Playboard’s data, Pastor Eze’s total revenue from his YouTube activities amounts to N7.81 billion. This impressive figure reflects the earnings he has accrued primarily through live-streamed content on his YouTube channel.
