Opeyemi Aiyeola slams Eniola Badmus over “body-shaming” comment on social media

A social media spat has erupted between Nollywood actresses Opeyemi Aiyeola and Eniola Badmus after a comment made by Badmus on Aiyeola’s recent video post drew backlash and prompted a fiery response.
The controversy began when Aiyeola shared a video with fans in which her receding hairline was visible. Among the comments, Badmus currently serving as Special Assistant to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas wrote: “Ope where is your front hair???”
Aiyeola responded in a strongly worded video, accusing Badmus of body-shaming and expressing deep disappointment. She criticized Badmus for making a negative remark despite her own past experiences with online ridicule.
“This livestream is for Eniola Badmus… I know there are a lot of animals in human form, but I’ve only decided to reply to Eniola,” Aiyeola said. “You used to be an image of ridicule and body-shaming on social media… to now think that you could come under my video?”
Aiyeola also pointed out that Badmus had never previously supported her or engaged positively with her content. “You have never helped in promoting anything that has to do with me… but to drop this comment, I swear to God that you’re an animal,” she stated.
She concluded with a scathing critique of Badmus’s views on beauty and friendship, calling her “ignorant” and questioning the sincerity of her values.
The incident has ignited widespread debate online, with fans and observers divided over the exchange. As of press time, Eniola Badmus has not issued any public response.
