‘I might not vote, I’m just confused’ – Davido responds to US Presidential Debate
Popular American-born Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido has expressed confusion about what to do in the upcoming 2024 presidential election that is to be held in November.
Davido, an American-born Nigerian, took to X to tell his fans that the 2024 presidential election might be the first election he doesn’t vote in, adding that he was confused.
The tweet read “Probably the first year of elections I might not vote … I’m just confused 😕”.
The election would be the first rematch election in 70 years, as it would see the same two candidates, Joe Biden and Donald Trump, representing the same parties, Democratic and Republican parties respectively, in consecutive elections.
Davido’s comments come in the wake of the just-concluded US Presidential debate that saw Trump tell many lies, but also saw Joe Biden struggle to have his wits about him.
Davido has expressed his loyalty toward the Democratic party, but also admitted that President Biden did not do the CNN-organized presidential debate justice.
