On Friday, March 21, 2025, at around 9:00 pm, gunmen abducted four people at the border between Nsugbe and Nkwele in Oyi local government area of Anambra State.
According to reports, the armed men stormed the area and kidnapped Mr. Dona Ayakalor and three of his friends, taking them to an unknown location.
A disturbing video circulating online shows the victims in pain as the kidnappers opened fire on them, leaving them with injuries. In the video, one of the victims can be heard calling a relative, pleading for money to help with their release.
The spokesperson for Anambra State Police, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, was not available for comment at the time.
