Cholera: Lagos accounts for 104 out of 113 cases for week 25 situation report

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has revealed that Nigeria now has 113 confirmed cases and seven deaths of cholera in the last seven days, spanning between June 17 and 23.

NCDC made this known in the cholera situation report for week 25 published on its website on Monday, July 8.

The recent report indicated that “three states (Lagos, Ogun, and Katsina) have reported cases of the disease, across 21 local government areas.”

It further stated that of the 113 cases recorded, Lagos accounted for 104, Ogun seven, and Katsina recorded one.
