Chidimma Adetshina says she’s not excited about returning to South Africa
Chidimma Adetshina, who was previously a contestant in Miss South Africa, has shared that she’s not eager to go back to the country soon.
Chidimma faced criticism during her Miss South Africa contestant announcement and later withdrew from the pageant after allegations of fraud and identity theft involving her mother surfaced.
She then received an invitation to join the Miss Universe Nigeria pageant, which she accepted after leaving Miss South Africa. Since arriving in Nigeria over a week ago to compete, Chidimma has been enjoying her time in her father’s homeland.
In an interview with Cool FM Nigeria on Monday, August 26, she said, “I think it’s safe to say I’m not going back. It’s been amazing. I’m not even looking forward to going back to South Africa. I just want to explore more. I want to stay longer and see what happens next.”
