Bayern Munich breaks Arsenal hearts once again

Bayern Munich didn’t have as comfortable a game as Thomas Tuchel would have liked, considering that his men were at home against Arsenal in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League quarterfinal tie.

After playing 2-2 in the first leg, it was all to play for at the Allianz Arena.

Bayern started key players like Harry Kane, Joshua Kimmich, Leroy Sane, Jamal Musiala, Manuel Neuer, and Leon Goretzka. Arsenal had Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard, Gabriel Jesus, William Saliba, David Raya, Gabriel Magalhaes, and Gabriel Martinelli.

Harry Kane did not find a goal in the game, but he ended up not needing to, as the game was eventually decided by a single goal by Bayern midfielder Joshua Kimmich in the 63rd minute.

Arsenal is now out of the UEFA Champions League, with Bayern Munich going on to face Real Madrid in the semifinal.
