Adams eyes Sevilla success, Super Eagles call-up

On Monday, March 24, Jerome Adams revealed that his primary focus is on making a significant impact at LaLiga club Sevilla after joining them permanently from Ligue 1’s Montpellier in January.

The 25-year-old striker has been limited to just one appearance due to injury but remains optimistic about his future with the Rojiblancos.

Adams, who was recently named in Nigeria’s provisional squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Zimbabwe and Rwanda, believes that excelling at the club level will eventually lead to an international call-up.

In an interview with La Liga, Adams said, “The focus for me right now is absolutely on Sevilla because we have a lot of objectives to catch up to in the season. And the better I do well for my club, I think the opportunity for the national team will come.”

Adams’ ambition is clear as he looks to make an impact at both the club and international levels, with hopes of earning a call-up to the Super Eagles in the near future.
