VeryDarkMan critiques distractions in Mohbad’s case, points to Naira Marley, Sam Larry

Social media commentator VeryDarkMan, whose real name is Vincent Otse, has revisited the tragic circumstances surrounding the death of the late singer Ileriouluwa Aloba, known as Mohbad.

Mohbad passed away on September 12, 2023, under suspicious circumstances and was laid to rest the following day. Since his death, numerous attempts by his family, authorities, and other stakeholders to uncover the truth have yielded little progress.

In a recent video reevaluation of the case, VeryDarkMan asserted that justice for Mohbad remains elusive. Initially, he had called for a DNA test, alleging that Mohbad’s wife, Wunmi, may have knowledge about the events leading to her husband’s death. However, he has since shifted his focus, claiming that Mohbad’s former employer, Naira Marley, and his associate, Sam Larry, are more directly linked to the situation.

He stated, “Mohbad did not get justice at the end of the day. The truth is that the main distraction was not DNA; the distraction was Naira Marley and Sam Larry.

“They themselves know what happened to the boy. Up till now, nobody has brought proof that Sam Larry or Naira Marley killed the boy; they know themselves, they know what happened that day. But they covered it up, trying to settle scores over whatever Naira Marley or Sam Larry did to them.”

VeryDarkMan emphasized that while Mohbad faced various forms of mistreatment, only one incident was captured in a “cropped” video that circulated online, implying that the full extent of his struggles has yet to be revealed.
