Toyin Abraham addresses reactions to her recent call for help
Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has addressed the reactions to her recent plea for help on social media.
Abraham had taken to social media to seek divine assistance, a move that triggered a range of responses from fans and friends.
Concerns were raised about her well-being, with some speculating that she might be struggling with the impact of the recent fuel price hike and criticizing her support for President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
In a video shared on Instagram on Thursday, September 5, Abraham clarified that her earlier post was not a cry for distress but a call for strength.
She expressed gratitude to those who reached out and explained that her distress was due to being overwhelmed by a large number of visitors at her home, which required preparing a substantial amount of food.
“Hello guys, there’s nothing wrong with me, I was just overwhelmed by a lot of crowds here. The crowd is massive. We have to make food for them. You can see too many people in this video. That’s why I’m scared. I’m ok, fam,” she said in the video.
She captioned the video, “I’m very okay, Fam. I’m just overwhelmed and truthfully, I need strength from GOD. Thank you all for your love and calls. IYA YIN wa alright o. Love you all and thanks once again.”
