Portable threatens legal action on anyone who defames him

Controversial musician Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, widely known as Portable, has issued a stern warning to anyone who attempts to defame him, vowing to take legal action and ensure their arrest.

This strong statement follows his recent arrest and subsequent remand in prison, related to allegations of criminal defamation against renowned fuji musician Saheed Osupa, also known as Saheed Osupa. In a video that has since gone viral, Portable made it clear that he would not hesitate to fight back legally if anyone tarnishes his name.

“Whoever talks bad about me or defames me will be arrested. They have done it to me, and I will do it to anybody too. There is no mercy,” said Portable, asserting his commitment to protect his reputation.

The Zazu singer’s comments come after he was briefly detained at the Oke Kura Correctional Centre in Ilorin, the capital of Kwara State, after failing to meet the bail conditions imposed by an Upper Area Court. However, he was later granted bail after Saheed Osupa withdrew the defamation petition against him.

Portable’s firm stance reflects his intention to take a zero-tolerance approach to defamation and protect his public image at all costs.
