Singer Seun Kuti has distanced himself from the ongoing rift between Burna Boy and Speed Darlington. This comes after Speed Darlington was arrested for suggesting that Burna Boy had an illicit relationship with American music executive Diddy to win a Grammy.
During a recent Instagram live session, Kuti responded to fans’ comments, stating that he would not get involved in the controversy. He emphasized that receiving a diamond from Burna Boy didn’t make him his adviser.
Kuti also pointed out that Diddy, whom Speed Darlington accused Burna Boy of having a relationship with, was actually the one who helped make Darlington popular. “Diddy reposted ‘Bangdadang,’ which made the song popular. I’ve done a lot of songs, and Diddy never posted any of them, but he reposted Speed Darlington’s song,” Kuti explained.
