See the four names the FA is considering to replace Gareth Southgate

The English Football Association (FA) has drawn up a list of possible candidates to replace Gareth Southgate.

Southgate left his role as England manager on Tuesday, July 16.

The 53-year-old had a contract until December, but has stepped down two days after losing 2-1 to Spain in the Euro 2024 final.

It is the second Euro final in a row that Southgate has suffered defeat with England, the first being against Italy on penalties in Euro 2021.

According to Sky Sports, the FA’s list of replacements includes Newcastle’s Eddie Howe, Mauricio Pochettino, Graham Potter and current England U21 boss Lee Carsley.

Pochettino and Potter are unemployed at the moment.
