Popular singer, Yemi Alade, has told Nigerians how she navigates the entertainment world without getting roped into scandals and controversies.
Alade said that she refused to allow people’s opinions to get to her.
Speaking on the sideline of her new album, ‘Rebel Queen’ listening party in Lagos recently, Alade explained that she simply ignores negative criticisms so they don’t affect her.
She said, “I don’t think about it [negative criticisms] too much. I’m just living my life because it’s only one life I have.
“Once I see or hear anything that doesn’t resonate with me I look the other way and I keep it moving. Because everybody is entitled to their opinions.”
