Ruben Amorim opens up about Manchester United star Alejandro Garnacho
Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has acknowledged that winger Alejandro Garnacho is “a little bit upset” with him after being left out of the squad that triumphed over Manchester City 2-1 last weekend.
Speaking ahead of the Red Devils’ Carabao Cup quarter-final clash against Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday, December 19, 2024, Amorim addressed Garnacho’s reaction, insisting that the young Argentine is fully prepared to feature against Spurs.
“Garnacho is doing really good, he trained really well,” Amorim stated during his pre-match press conference. “He seems a little bit upset with me and that is perfect! I was really, really happy because I would do the same.”
The manager went on to reassure fans that Garnacho is ready to take the field: “He is ready for this game.”
