Sevilla manager Garcia Pimienta has reiterated his faith in Kelechi Iheanacho, emphasizing the Nigerian forward’s ability to make a significant impact at the club.
Since joining Sevilla on a free transfer this summer, Iheanacho has struggled to find his best form, with only one start to his name as the team battles near the relegation zone.
Ahead of the match against Real Valladolid at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium on Tuesday, September 24, Pimienta praised Iheanacho’s skills, stating, “Everyone, whoever plays up front tomorrow has to do well. Kelechi is a proven player.”
He acknowledged Iheanacho’s recent challenges, noting, “The other day he had a difficult game because he came on without warming up. Just like the rest, he has to take a step forward because he has the quality to do it at Sevilla.”
