The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has revised the kick-off time for the matchday two fixture between Rivers United and Heartland. Originally scheduled for Sunday, September 15, the match will now commence at 3:00 PM.
This adjustment was announced by Rivers United through a statement on their X account on Wednesday, September 11. The change is attributed to the need to accommodate live television coverage of the game.
The NPFL’s decision aims to ensure optimal viewing conditions for the broadcast. Rivers United will host Heartland FC at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt.
In their previous fixture, Rivers United secured a goalless draw against Bendel Insurance in their opening match in Benin.
