Lil Smart takes legal action against Naira Marley, Zinoleesky over alleged life-threatening harassment
Nigerian dancer Lil Smart has officially filed a petition against Naira Marley, the boss of Marlian Records, and the label’s artist Zinoleesky, over allegations of threats to his life.
On Thursday, December 19, 2024, DAILY POST reported that Lil Smart had raised alarm on social media on December 9, 2024, claiming that his life was being threatened by both Marley and Zinoleesky. The dancer shared disturbing videos and images, accusing the two artists of chasing him and instilling fear for his safety. He called on the public to hold Naira Marley and Zinoleesky accountable should anything happen to him.
In a statement shared on Instagram, Lil Smart revealed that he had formally submitted his petition to the authorities, vowing to pursue justice through the legal system. “This is not the first or third time I have been experiencing this bullying. But I didn’t have enough evidence to face the law. Now, I thank God that I have very good evidence, and I will put everything I have in line to make sure this bullying and threat to life is stopped,” he stated.
The dancer expressed his hope that the legal system would ensure accountability: “With my evidence, I really hope that they are not too big to be apprehended. I have submitted my petition and evidence to the authorities. By God’s grace, the law that binds us as citizens of Nigeria will make sure I get the justice I deserve.”
As of the time of this report, neither Naira Marley nor Zinoleesky has responded to the allegations.
