I want Premier League to make quick decision – Guardiola on 115 charges
Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola, has said he wants a quick resolution to their legal battle with the Premier League.
The champions have been charged with 115 alleged breaches of financial rules.
It has already been confirmed that City’s case in front of an independent panel will begin next month.
However, a verdict is not expected until next year.
Potential punishments for Guardiola’s men include points deduction, heavy fines and relegation from the top flight.
Guardiola said: “I am happy that it starts soon and hopefully it will finish soon.
“For the benefit of all of us, especially the club but also other Premier League clubs and all the people who don’t wait for the sentence.
“I wish, from deep in my heart, we go to trial, and the independent panel as soon as possible releases what happened and we will accept like we always have.”
