Guardiola confirms injury setbacks following 2-1 triumph over Wolves

On Sunday, October 20, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola faced a challenging post-match situation after his team secured a 2-1 victory against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League.

Jørgen Strand Larsen put the hosts ahead early in the match at Molineux Stadium. However, City responded, with Joško Gvardiol equalizing before John Stones clinched the win with a dramatic goal in the 95th minute.

During the post-match press conference, Guardiola addressed the injuries of key players Kyle Walker and Kevin De Bruyne, stating, “I don’t think they will be ready [for midweek against Sparta Praha in the Champions League]. We have a few days of training but I don’t think so.”

With this win, Manchester City moved into second place in the league, trailing only the leaders, Liverpool.
