Rivers United head coach, Finidi George, has expressed confidence in his team’s readiness for their upcoming top-of-the-table clash with Remo Stars in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
Despite suffering back-to-back losses in their last two league matches, the former champions are determined to get back on track when they travel to Ikenne on Sunday, November 17, 2024.
“We will get back, we will see where to make adjustments and get the players back,” Finidi said, as quoted by NPFL media. “Sometimes things like this happen, but we have to get back on track because we are facing Remo Stars next in the league.”
Rivers United will be aiming to recover their winning form against the in-form Remo Stars and reassert their place among the top teams in the NPFL.
