Ebonyi governor sacks two aides over misconduct

On Tuesday, March 18, Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State fired two of his aides for serious misconduct.
The dismissed aides are Mr. Nnannna Nwangele, who was the Special Assistant to the Governor on Airport Security, and Mr. Felix Okemini, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Security (Ebonyi North).
The decision was announced in a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Grace Umezurike. The statement, made available to journalists in Abakaliki, instructed the fired officers to return all government property in their possession by 4:00 pm on the same day.
The statement also emphasized that the former aides should no longer be seen at the Government House or involved in any government-related activities.
