Chelsea to face Man City, Man United gets Coventry City
The FA Cup semifinal draw has been made, and Chelsea definitely has the harder route to the final, as it has been put against the title holders Manchester City. On the other side of the draw, Manchester United will face Championship side Coventry City, who are in the semifinal for only the second time in their history.
All four sides deserve to be in the semifinal, with Coventry beating Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers in the quarterfinal. Man United knocked out Liverpool in an extremely entertaining match that had everything, including a red card.
Chelsea did the business against Leicester City, beating them 4-2 in the quarterfinal, while Man City knocked out Newcastle United, beating them 2-0 at the Etihad.
Man United and Man City went all the way to the final last season, with Man United losing the final 2-1. Ilkay Gundogan scored both goals for City.
Both semifinal ties would take place at England’s national stadium Wembley.
The times for the matches are yet to be decided.
