Birnin Kudu chairman orders clearing of bushy grazing areas to curb criminal hideouts

The Chairman of Birnin Kudu Local Government Area in Jigawa State, Muhammed Uba, has ordered the clearing of all bushy grazing areas suspected to be used as hideouts by criminal elements.

The directive followed a message conveyed to the council by the representative of the Emir of Dutse and Peace Ambassador, Alhaji Ado Ahmed.

According to Uba, the action became necessary after reports that some bushy grazing reserves within parts of the Dutse Emirate were being exploited by criminals as safe havens.

The council is expected to commence clearing operations immediately to ensure the safety of residents and restore security in the affected areas.
