Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade has been shortlisted for the Player of the Month award for September in Spain’s Liga F.
Ajibade earned this nomination following her impressive performances with Atletico Madrid, where she scored two goals and provided two assists in two league matches during the month.
She registered an assist in Atletico Madrid’s 2-0 victory over Granada on the opening day and followed up with a standout performance, scoring twice and adding another assist in the team’s 4-0 win against Valencia.
Other nominees for the award include Barcelona’s Ewa Pajor, Real Madrid’s Caroline Weir, Levante Badalona’s María Llompart, and Athletic Club Femenino’s Nerea Nevado.
