PDP Senators caucus seeks to resolve ongoing party crisis
On Thursday, October 17, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Senate caucus convened to address the ongoing crisis within the party.
This decision followed a closed-door meeting that lasted over three hours, led by Senate Minority Leader Senator Abba Moro.
After the meeting, Moro, who represents the Benue South Senatorial District, informed journalists that an expanded committee has been formed. This committee includes former PDP governors and prominent party leaders and has been tasked with engaging with aggrieved members.
Moro stated that the committee’s goal is to identify grievances and facilitate a peaceful resolution, ensuring that the party can move forward effectively. The committee will present its findings and recommendations to the party leadership.
Further details will be provided later.
