Veteran Nollywood actor Fabian Adibe has passed away at the age of 82. The news was confirmed early Wednesday by Seun Oloketuyi, CEO of Best of Nollywood (BON), in a post shared on social media.
“Things Fall Apart actor, Fabian Adibie, is dead. Died 2:30 am this morning,” Oloketuyi wrote.
Known for iconic roles in classic films
Adibe was widely respected for his work in early Nigerian cinema and was especially known for his role in the adaptation of Chinua Achebe’s Things Fall Apart. His performances helped shape the foundation of Nollywood as it evolved into a global force.
