Manchester United will sign a striker in the summer - Romano
Fabrizio Romano has revealed on his podcast that Manchester United is going a sign a striker in the summer.
He has also mentioned Ivan Toney as an option that could be available to the English giants come the summer.
Recall that Man United acquired Serie A hot prospect, Atalanta’s striker Rasmus Hojlund last summer. This news, therefore, comes as a surprise to Man United fans.
Hojlund, for his part, did not hit the ground running, taking him 16 league games to find his first league goal, but scoring seven goals from the next seven games after that.
The Denmark striker got injured on February 18, against Luton Town, but has returned from injury, even making starting against Liverpool in the FA Cup quarterfinal clash on Sunday, March 17.
Hojlund had five UEFA Champions League goals this season, but Man United was knocked out of the competition in the group stage after accumulating only four points.
