Manchester United midfielder and captain Bruno Fernandes has given his verdict on the rumors of the SL Benfica central midfielder Joao Neves, saying the youngster is ready to make the jump from the Liga Portugal Betclic to the Premier League.
He made these comments in an interview on Sport TV Portugal when asked about what he thought about the links between the Benfica midfielder and Manchester United.
Fernandes made sure to mention that they were just rumors, but if there was any truth to it, he would back the youngster to make the jump to Manchester United and not look out of place.
“I don’t know if United rumors are true, but I know he is ready for that big jump”.
“He is an excellent player, he’s with the National team… that’s also why the big clubs are after him,” Fernandes told Sport TV Portugal.
Manchester United has needed a central midfielder, so the fans would be all too excited to hear this news.
