Chelsea target Brighton’s Buonanotte as Mainoo eyes Napoli move

Chelsea open talks for Buonanotte signing
Chelsea have begun negotiations to sign Facundo Buonanotte from Brighton & Hove Albion, according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano.
The 19-year-old Argentine midfielder is attracting interest from multiple clubs across the UK, as well as Borussia Dortmund in the German Bundesliga.
Chelsea appear to be leading the race as they continue to rebuild under manager Enzo Maresca, with a focus on young, technically gifted players.
Mainoo wants out of Manchester United
In a separate development, Kobbie Mainoo has reportedly informed Manchester United of his desire to leave the club and join Napoli on a permanent deal, according to Mirror Football.
The 19-year-old England international has yet to make an appearance in the Premier League this season and was an unused substitute in matches against Arsenal and Fulham.
Mainoo has struggled for minutes under new United boss Ruben Amorim, who has a crowded midfield lineup at his disposal.
If the move to Napoli materialises, it would mark a major shift in the young midfielder’s career, offering him more regular playing time and a fresh start in Serie A.
