Ex-United scout: Hojlund has no future under Amorim at Old Trafford

Rasmus Hojlund urged to leave Manchester United this summer
Former Manchester United scout Mick Brown has delivered a blunt message to Danish striker Rasmus Hojlund—saying his time at Old Trafford is effectively over under new manager Ruben Amorim.
Hojlund, 22, has yet to feature in a Premier League game this season and appears to have slipped out of Amorim’s plans entirely.
Serie A return on the cards
Hojlund is reportedly attracting strong interest from Napoli and AC Milan, clubs familiar with his previous success in Serie A during his time with Atalanta.
“They know what he is capable of in Serie A, and he knows what to expect from that league,” Brown told The Sun.
“It’s a bit of a step down from United and the Premier League, with less pressure on him to perform.”
A clean break may be best for all
Brown believes a move back to Italy could be the best scenario for both the player and the club.
“If he can get regular football and settle in Italy, it would be the best move for everyone,” he added.
“Hojlund doesn’t have a future at Manchester United or under Ruben Amorim.”
Signed with high expectations, Hojlund’s time at United has yet to truly take off—and with interest growing from Italy, a summer transfer looks increasingly likely.
