BREAKING: First Lady of Akwa Ibom, Patience Umo Eno, has passed away
The Akwa Ibom State Government has announced the heartbreaking news of the death of Pastor Mrs. Patience Umo Eno, the wife of the State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno.
In a statement released early Friday morning, State Commissioner for Information Ini Ememobong reported that the First Lady passed away due to an undisclosed illness.
The statement, titled “Unexpected Sunset,” conveyed, “With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Her Excellency, Pastor Mrs. Patience Umo Eno, following an illness. She peacefully departed at the hospital on September 26, 2024, surrounded by her family. The family submits to the will of the Almighty and requests prayers and support during this challenging time.”
Further information will be shared by the family as needed. They also request privacy as they grieve their beloved wife, mother, and grandmother.
