Bolanle Ninalowo, the famous Nollywood actor, has shared why he decided to support his daughter, Aliyah, in getting her navel pierced. In a candid conversation with VJ Adams, Ninalowo explained how he backed his 18-year-old daughter’s decision to pierce her navel as part of their special bond.
Ninalowo revealed that Aliyah initially wanted to pierce her tongue, but as a father, he felt uneasy about that choice. However, he was more comfortable with the idea of a navel piercing, as it’s something that could be easily removed whenever she chose.
In a now-viral video, Ninalowo shared that he not only gave his full support but also took it a step further by driving her to the piercing studio himself. To show his commitment, the actor also paid for the procedure, reinforcing his dedication to being present in his daughter’s life and supporting her choices.
He said, “I allowed her to pierce her navel because I wanted to bond with her. A navel ring can be taken out at any time, so I was okay with it.”
Ninalowo’s gesture has been widely praised, with fans noting his open-mindedness and strong connection with his daughter.
