Over the weekend, several sources published articles without verifying facts, suggesting that the 48-year-old actress had attributed her unmarried status to her physical appearance. The reports lacked credible sources and quickly sparked controversy.
Reacting promptly to the damaging misinformation, Adunni Ade publicly refuted the claims, labeling them as “fake news.”
In a firm statement posted on X (formerly Twitter), she gave all involved parties a 24-hour ultimatum to remove the misleading posts or face legal consequences.
She stated explicitly,
