On Monday, June 30, Nigerian singer Young John revealed that his colleague Davido makes him feel financially intimidated.
The ‘Go Hard Or Go Home’ crooner made the comment during a sideline interview at the Paris Fashion Week in France.
When asked if he had ever met someone who made him feel broke, Young John responded, “Too many times, bro. Davido. Whenever I see his money, I’m like, I need to work hard and drop more songs.”
He also explained that Davido’s success inspires him to push harder in his own career.
Young John shared that he never initially planned to become an artist. He started his career as a producer with Olamide’s YBNL Nation, producing hit songs for Lil Kesh, Olamide, and other artists on the label before accidentally transitioning into singing.
