Victor Lindelof, the former Manchester United defender, has completed a transfer to Aston Villa on deadline day. The 31-year-old leaves Old Trafford after 284 appearances, ready to reunite with Unai Emery’s squad.
He could feature in Villa’s upcoming match against Everton after the international break.
Fulham secures Chelsea winger Tyrique George
In another deadline day move, Fulham have agreed to sign 19-year-old winger Tyrique George from Chelsea. According to The Athletic’s David Ornstein, the deal is worth £22 million and includes a sell-on clause.
George has already signed a five-year contract and is set to be a key player for the Cottagers.
