Celebrity Nigerian cryptocurrency entrepreneur Linus Williams Ifejirika, popularly known as Blord, has finally secured his freedom. A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja granted him bail on Friday after he spent several weeks in Kuje prison.
The entrepreneur faced legal heat over allegations of impersonating social media commentator Martins Vincent Otse, better known as VeryDarkMan. Activist and former presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore confirmed the development through a statement on his official social media page.
Court imposes strict conditions for entrepreneur’s release
The presiding judge granted Blord bail on self-recognizance but included specific requirements to ensure his continued appearance in court. As part of these conditions, the court ordered the businessman to deposit his international passport with the authorities.
The legal battle began earlier this month when the court ordered his remand on April 1, 2026. This followed a series of investigations into his online activities and the reported friction with other social media personalities.
