UECL: Onyedika suspended for Club Brugge in semifinal clash
Raphael Onyedika will miss Club Brugge’s UEFA Europa Conference League semifinal second leg clash with Fiorentina due to suspension.
Onyedika was sent off in the first leg last week, in a game the Belgian club lost 3-2.
The midfielder was first booked in the 58 minute before he was red-carded three minutes later.
The 23-year-old will now serve a mandatory one-match suspension as punishment.
His absence will be a setback for Club Brugge, who need to score at least two goals to overturn the deficit from the first leg.
He was voted Club Brugge’s Player of the Month for April.
