Former Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos has lauded Arda Guler, the club’s Turkish international, for his remarkable talent.
Kroos, who recently retired from professional football, commented on Guler’s exceptional goal at Euro 2024 against Georgia, asserting that it was a demonstration of skill rather than luck.
Speaking at the launch of The Icon League, Kroos remarked, “When Arda played more towards the end of the season, he scored every time. His finishing is unreal. His goal at the Euros was not luck.”
The former German international had previously praised Guler’s abilities, noting, “He has a great talent for his age. He has a very, very fine left foot. And he will show it many times.”
Kroos added, via Managing Madrid, “I think he is a pretty good and smart signing, especially for the future.”
