Popular Nigerian TikTok personality, Peller, has opened up about his decision to leave Islam and embrace Christianity, citing a traumatic experience from his childhood as the turning point in his spiritual journey.
Peller made the revelation during a recent live session with fans, after a viewer referred to him as a Muslim. He promptly corrected the assumption, saying, “I’m not a Muslim. I go to church very well.”
Explaining the reason for his religious shift, Peller recounted his time in Quranic school as a child, where he said he suffered severe physical punishment. The experience, he said, left a lasting emotional scar and ultimately drove him away from the Islamic faith.
“I was beaten severely when I was young at the Quranic school. That’s why I stopped going,” he said.
Peller explained that the incident shaped his spiritual outlook and eventually guided him toward Christianity, where he now feels more at peace.
The revelation comes amid increased public interest in the content creator, following news of his engagement, which his girlfriend recently confirmed on social media.
