South African Premier Soccer League club Stellenbosch FC has acquired Enyinnaya Kazie Godswill from Rivers United. The move was confirmed on Monday, September 2, by iDiski Times.
Kazie will be filling the position previously held by Deano Van Rooyen, who has recently joined Orlando Pirates.
This transfer marks Kazie’s first experience playing outside Nigeria. The 25-year-old defender has previously competed in the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup with Rivers United, the former Nigeria Premier Football League champions.
Kazie is currently awaiting his work permit, which will allow him to travel to South Africa and join his new team.
