Inter Milan manager Simone Inzaghi has praised Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal as a “huge talent” ahead of the UEFA Champions League semi-final second-leg tie on Tuesday, May 6, 2025.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference, Inzaghi highlighted the 16-year-old Spain international’s dangerous ability, noting that he would be a key focus in Inter’s strategy to contain Barcelona’s attack at San Siro.
“We have to try not to let him get the ball, but it is impossible. Obviously, he will be double-marked, he will be closely watched, so we will try to pay attention to him,” Inzaghi said, according to Mundo Deportivo.
He continued, “In person, he is a huge talent, he is truly dangerous; everyone gives him the ball. I was impressed by his quick thinking; he always knows what play to make.”
Yamal scored in the 3-3 draw during the first-leg encounter at Camp Nou, making him a crucial player for Barcelona as they look to advance to the final.
