Senator Mpigi Barinada, who represented Rivers South East in the Senate and chaired the Senate Committee on Works, has died.
The news was confirmed on Thursday by Akin Alabi, Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Works, who paid tribute to the late lawmaker on his official X account, writing: “Good night my dear friend. Rest in Peace, Senator Mpigi Barinada. Sen Mpigi represented Rivers South East in the Senate.”
