Red Devils seal transfer deal for Atalanta star Ederson

Manchester United have completed a transfer agreement to sign Atalanta midfielder Ederson to strengthen their central core. The structural deal is worth 45 million Euros, including various performance-related add-ons.
The Brazilian midfielder will sign a four-year contract at Old Trafford following the conclusion of medical examinations. Club executives fast-tracked the deal to hand manager Michael Carrick vital defensive reinforcement before pre-season training begins.
Fabrizio Romano uncovers deeper summer transfer strategy
Football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, reported that Ederson is merely the first midfield acquisition planned for the summer. The Italian journalist disclosed on X that the technical crew wants to remodel the entire department.
The aggressive recruitment drive became necessary because veteran midfielders Casemiro and Manuel Ugarte will leave the club. Carrick intends to sign at least one more high-profile player to complete the tactical transition.
“Éderson will only be the first midfield signing at Man United, at least another one has been planned. Casemiro and Ugarte to leave so #MUFC will add one more, could be two under certain conditions,” Romano wrote.
